Five artists form an experimental group and rent an old laundromat in Amsterdam's Elandstraat.
We held and organized performances; exhibitions; lectures and performances by poets, musicians, and visual artists. Installations featuring burning sugar cubes; used motor oil pumped through washing machine pumps; moldy cherries and full vacuum cleaner bags; growing salt crystals, etc.
Example: the space was converted into a tearoom where repulsive conversations were whispered through hidden speakers.
The group also performed outside the gallery: at venues including AORTA, SPONZ, and the SCHOTTENBURG (Amsterdam) and DE GELE RIJDER (Arnhem).

1984 – Continuing on my own path. I want to make the most of the 100% freedom an artist has in making choices. So I choose multiple subjects and seek out the appropriate techniques.
I can’t limit myself to just one idea or approach, just as I can’t eat the same thing every day. This variety is essential to me.

2005–2025 Exhibition organizer, curator, and talent scout for “This Art Foundation” in Amsterdam (www.thisartfair.com)
